Dr. Mike Devlin

Mike is a Professor and Regents’ Teacher at Texas State University whose expertise is in creative advertising, branding and sports marketing. Prior to working in academia, he was an art director and multimedia specialist for a global company. He is also the author of Creative Thinking & Concepting in Advertising. He has over 30 national and international publications, and his work has been featured in Wired, Men’s Health, CNN, and several other ad and PR textbooks. His background in research, teaching, and applied strategy gives clients a rare mix of academic credibility, content creation, and creative ideation. 

Dr. Natalie Devlin

Natalie is an Associate Professor and Director of Texas Media & Analytics at UT Austin. Her research investigates the intersection of digital media, sports, and crisis communication. She has authored over 60 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters and white papers. She has also co-authored a textbook, Sport Communication: A Process Approach. Prior to working in academia, Natalie worked in strategic account analytics, where she developed measurement and testing solutions for B2C and B2B brands, totaling more than $40 million in annual revenue.
